Common questions

Questions before committing.

Service-specific technical questions are on the relevant service pages. These are questions about our working model, pricing, procurement and support.

How we work

It means there is no argument about responsibility when something goes wrong. When the supplier, installer and support team are different companies, each points at the other and hours are lost. In the single-point-of-contact model, the product, installation and support are all under one contract.

Yes. Hardware procurement only, installation only or maintenance only are all possible. The advantage of the end-to-end model is undivided accountability, but it is not a requirement.

Yes. Your existing infrastructure can be inventoried and brought into scope; where the hardware was sourced does not prevent us from providing support for it.

No. Source code, configuration documentation, network diagrams and licences remain with the organisation. Everything needed to hand over to another provider is yours.

Pricing

A price given before the scope is written down is an estimate. If the estimate is too low, extra items appear mid-project; if it is too high, you overpay. The scope is fixed after analysis, and then the price is firm.

A short discovery call is free. Analysis that requires an on-site visit and a written report is priced separately; if the project goes ahead, this fee can be offset against the total.

Out-of-scope requests are priced separately and added with written approval. Every change is documented; there are no surprise costs.

Procurement and import

For international procurement, we manage the import, customs and logistics process ourselves. The client is only involved at delivery and go-live.

We are brand-agnostic. We procure common enterprise brands for servers, networking and end-user devices through manufacturer or authorised distributor channels. If you have a brand requirement, tell us upfront; otherwise the choice is driven by requirements, lead time and total cost of ownership.

Warranty records are kept by serial number. In the event of a fault, the manufacturer warranty process is managed on the client's behalf by us.

Support and continuity

An SLA defines fault priorities and the first-response and resolution time commitments for each priority in writing. Without an SLA, a support promise is a statement of good intent with no committed timeline.

Out-of-hours and weekend coverage is not included in the standard package; it is added as a separate line item in the SLA agreement based on need.

Often yes. Internal teams handle daily operations well. Outsourced support adds the most value in specialist areas — server infrastructure, networking, procurement — where a dedicated internal hire is not cost-effective. This also removes single-person dependency risk.
